Barnyard Boys from Hickory Grove - early 30s
John Love's son Roger recalls:

"He played on the radio one night a week with the Barnyard Boys in Newark, NJ, maybe on WOV, before 1935. When I was 3 years old (1935) my mother and I sat in front of the radio listening for him to sneak in between he-haws "Hi Roger". My mother used to say "there it is", but I could never hear it. He earned $5 per show and it was the only income we had during the depression years. He probably did it until the late 30's."
